Position Overview:

PTTOW! is on the hunt for a highly organized, self starter and tenacious Event Manager  to join our world class team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about shaping tomorrow’s culture, resourceful, and forward thinking. Candidates must have first hand experience with high-touch events ranging from 300-2500 attendees.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing  a wide range of elements for 2 annual summits and approximately 6 additional events
  • Manage logistical elements leading  into all events, including but not limited to F&B, travel, rooming list, decor, activations, and temp staff
  • Work with cross-functional teams for successful execution of events, and to meet company, stakeholder, and event objectives
  • Develop, adhere to, and track timelines, to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Manage on-site elements, including management of temp staff
  • Track and reconcile all event expenses, and work with Event Director to ensure budgets are updated and accurate on an ongoing basis
  • Oversee vendor set up, purchase orders and invoicing processes - work with accounting to facilitate contractor/vendor contracts and invoices
  • Assist with brainstorming and researching venues, hotels, activations and gifting
  • Support the team with general office and administrative duties, as required

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience organizing, planning, executing and staffing industry leading, multi-faceted events with multiple touch points
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize work and multi-task over a wide range of responsibilities, with limited supervision
  • Excellent strategic thinking and critical reasoning skills; ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with high-profile executives, talent and management
  • Top-notch organizational skills with strong attention to event details
  • Self-motivated, resourceful and dependable with a strong work ethic, with a no task is too small attitude
  • Ability to exercise a high level of discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Technical skills: MAC programs including proficiency with Keynote, Photoshop or Illustrator and Office essentials including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Experience with registration systems and event apps are a plus
  • Must be willing to work long hours and weekends, as required, and to travel both domestically and internationally as needed
  • Bachelor degree and CMP designation a plus
