Summary of Role: 

As a Membership & Partnerships Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for assisting the marketing team with growing the membership by seeking unique & creative partnerships within our ecosphere and beyond. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing relationships with key members while actively engaging with prospects, members, and partners thru email, phone calls, and in-person meetings. You will be working closely with the WORLDZ marketing team to identify and seek out key member & partnership opportunities.

The perfect person for this role is both extremely sociable and hungry to grow a community from the ground up. This individual must be organized, possess exceptional communicative skills, and have an ability to work as a team while being able to think and work independently. This individual is expected to be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast changing environment and able to adapt and excel when faced with new challenges.

Role & Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with the management of the prospect funnel closing warm leads thru email, via phone calls, or in-person
  • Work with Marketing team to develop and create unique strategies to grow the WORLDZ Membership
  • Evangelize the WORLDZ mission while recruiting potential new members in person at key industry events and online
  • Establish creative partnerships with key cultural groups within the community aligning with various marketing initiatives
  • Build deep relationships with key members through the use of email, phone calls and in-person meetings
  • Support the WORLDZ team in various related marketing strategies

Knowledge, Skills, Ability: 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a keen business acumen
  • 2+ years experience handling high-volume outbound calling campaigns resulting in revenue (PLUS if its in the events industry)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A) or equivalent, preferably in Business, Communications, Political Science, and/or Arts
  • Knowledge and passion for youth media, marketing, and culture
  • Experience managing your own pipeline and identifying new business opportunities (both cold and warm)
  • Experience with Salesforce or other related CRM is a plus
  • Experience executing or coordinating brand and/or media partnerships is a plus
  • Good existing sphere of relationships and comfortable cultivating new ones.
  • Highly organized and able to assemble large amounts of data
  • Ability to work as part of a high performance team while being able to think and work independently
  • Professional appearance and manner.
